Ingredients

1/4 cup sugar
1/3 cup instant coffee
1 dash salt
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
5 cups milk
1 pint ice cream vanilla or coffee flavour
1 x whipped cream to garnish
1 x nutmeg to garnish

Directions

Combine sugar, coffee, salt, vanilla, and milk; stir until sugar dissolves.

Chill until serving time.

Then ladle ice cream, by large spoonfuls, into punch bowl; pour coffee mixture over.

Top with puffs of whipped cream and sprinkle with a little nutmeg.

Serve in punch cups.
