| 1 | each | lettuce | bag, shredded |
| 1/2 | pound | salami | cut into strips |
| 1 | cup | mozzarella cheese | shredded, reduced fat |
| 1 | cup | cheddar cheese | shredded, reduced fat |
| 1 | each | tomato | chopped |
| 2 | each | olives | black, cans, halved |
| 1 | tablespoon | chives | fresh, chopped |
| 8 | ounces | tomato sauce | can |
| 1/2 | cup | vegetable oil | vegetable |
| 1/4 | cup | vinegar | white wine |
| 1 | teaspoon | sugar | |
| 1 | teaspoon | salt | |
| 1/4 | teaspoon | garlic powder | |
| 1 | teaspoon | oregano | dried |
| 1/8 | teaspoon | black pepper | ground |
In a large bowl, combine the lettuce, salami, mozzarella cheese, cheddar cheese, tomato, olives and chives. Mix well to combine.
Prepare the dressing by whisking together the tomato sauce, oil, vinegar, sugar, salt, garlic powder, oregano and pepper. Pour enough dressing over salad to coat, toss and serve.

This dish is surprisingly delicious! Easy & healthy - I'll make it often. Note - cut the amount of pasta in half, (8oz is plenty) and DON'T SKIP the lemon zest garnish at the end.
