| 1 | tablespoon | black pepper | melange, coarsely ground |
| 2 | cloves | garlic | minced |
| 1 1/2 | teaspoons | salt | |
| 2 | teaspoons | horseradish | prepared |
| 2 | tablespoons | olive oil | |
| 2 1/2 | pounds | beef, sirloin steak | boneless |
Combine the pepper, garlic, salt, horseradish and olive oil; rub onto surface o f steak.
Refrigerate, covered, 30-60 minutes.
Heat broiler; broil steak 5 inches from heat until medium-rare (11-13 minutes per side) or until internal temperature reaches 145 -150 degrees on instant read thermometer.
Let stand 5 minutes; slice half of steak across grain 1/4 inch thick.
Serve immediately.
