| 6 | cups | cucumbers | thin sliced |
| 2 | cups | onions | thin sliced |
| 1 1/2 | cups | vinegar | |
| 1 | cup | sugar | |
| 1/2 | teaspoon | salt | |
| 1/2 | teaspoon | mustard seed | |
| 1/2 | teaspoon | celery seeds | |
| 1/2 | teaspoon | turmeric | ground |
Place half of the cucumber in a large glass bowl. Top with half the onion.
Repeat the procedure with the remaining cucumber and onion.
Combine vinegar and remaining ingredients in a sauce pan; stir well.
Bring to a boil, boil 1 minute.
Pour the mixture over the cucumber and onion; let cool.
Cover and marinate in refrigerater for 4 days.

this recipe is amazing! it's sooo easy and delicous. i actually got it from online a while back and went to make it tonight, and realized i had lost the recipe, so i've been searching the internet to find this exact recipe again. my only 2 cents would be that it makes 2 loafs for me. one loaf doesn't cook properly, but 2 comes out perfect!
