| 1 | each | pie shell (9 inch) | unbaked |
| 1/2 | pound | ground beef, lean | |
| 1/2 | cup | milk | |
| 1/2 | cup | mayonnaise | |
| 1/2 | cup | milk | |
| 2 | large | eggs | |
| 1 | tablespoon | cornstarch | |
| 1 1/2 | cups | cheddar cheese | chopped |
| 1/3 | cup | scallions, spring or green onions | chopped |
| 1 | d | black pepper |
Brown meat in microwave.
Drain fat and set aside.
Blend milk, mayo, eggs and cornstarch until smooth (I use my Cuisinart).
Stir in meat, cheese, onion, and pepper.
Turn into pastry shell.
Bake in 350 degree F oven 35 to 40 minutes or until golden on top and knife inserted in center comes out clean.

A handy metric conversion chart useful when preparing recipes, contains fluid measurements, weights and oven temperatures....
WE made these last night and they were quite good. The meat was very tender and the bar-b-que wasn't overpowering but it lacked that certain tang bar-b-que should have.
