Ingredients

1/2 cup vegetable shortening butter flavour
1/2 cup sugar granulated
1/2 cup sugar brown, firmly packed
2 tablespoons milk
1 each egg
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 1/4 cups flour, all-purpose
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
2 cups crisp rice cereal
1 cup chocolate chips semi-sweet miniatures

Directions

Preparation Time: 20 Minutes Bake Time: 9 Minutes 1. Heat oven to 350 F. Grease baking sheet with Butter Flavor Crisco.

Set aside.

2. Cream Butter Flavor Crisco, granulated sugar, brown sugar well blended.

Beat in egg and vanilla.

3. Combine flour, baking soda and salt. Add to creamed mixture.

Mix until blended.

Stir in creeal and chocolate. Drop level measuring tablespoonfuls of dough 2 inches apart onto baking sheet.

4. Bake at 350 for 9 minutes. Remove to cooling rack.

Makes 4 dozen 2 inch cookies.

Swiss Steak (3 Versions, Stove Top, Crockpot, Oven)

I found this to be rather bland so I used a can of stewed tomatoes Italian blend. Even with this addition it still needs some more seasoning. I will add mushrooms next time. With a little practice this could be a winner!
