Ingredients

2 cups flour, all-purpose
1 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup sugar
3 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 cup vegetable shortening
1 1/4 cups milk
3 large eggs
1/2 cup chocolate chips
1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1/2 cup chocolate chips
2 tablespoons butter
1 tablespoon corn syrup, light

Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

Grease and flour a bundt pan.

Measure all ingredients except last three, in large bowl.

Blend 1/2 minute on low speed, scraping constantly.

Beat 3 minutes on high spped, scraping occasionally.

Pour into pans.

Bake 40-45 minutes or clean pick.

Cool, spread with glaze, made out of remaining ingredients.

Heat ingredients over low heat, stirring constantly until chocolate is melted.

Slightly cool and spread on cake.
