3/4 cup almonds sliced
1/2 cup sugar granulated, plus 2 tablespoons
2 each egg whites
1/8 teaspoon cream of tartar
1/8 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon almond extract
1 teaspoon cornstarch
1 tablespoon powdered sugar
Chocolate ganache
6 ounces chocolate (semi-sweet) broken into 1/2 ounce pieces
7 tablespoons heavy whipping cream
1 teaspoon sugar granulated
1 teaspoon butter, unsalted
