| 1 | cup | sugar | |
| 1 | cup | brown sugar | |
| 1 | each | egg | |
| 1 | tablespoon | milk | |
| 2 | teaspoons | vanilla extract | |
| 3 1/2 | cups | flour, all-purpose | |
| 1 | teaspoon | salt | |
| 3 | teaspoons | baking powder | |
| 1 | cup | vegetable oil | |
| 1 | cup | oats, quick cooking | |
| 1 | cup | corn flakes | |
| 12 | ounces | chocolate chips |
Cream butter with sugars.
Add egg, milk and vanilla.
Combine flour, salt and baking powder.
Add these dry ingredients alternately with oil to the first mixture.
Add oats, corn flakes and chocolate chips.
Drop by teaspoonful onto ungreased cookie sheets.
Bake at 350 F for 10 to 13 minutes.

2/26/01- this is a great receipe, my family loved it. The only thing I will change next time I make it, is double up on the sweet and sour sauce, it was a little dry, but the flavor was excellent. Thank you for this reciepe.-Marilyn/Tx
