| Crust | |||
| 1 | cup | chocolate wafer crumbs | |
| 3 | tablespoons | margarine | melted |
| Filling | |||
| 16 | ounces | cream cheese | softened |
| 2/3 | cup | sugar | |
| 2 | large | eggs | large |
| 6 | ounces | chocolate chips | melted |
| 1/4 | teaspoon | almond extract | |
| Topping | |||
| 21 | ounces | cherry pie filling | |
| 1 | x | whipped topping, prepared | |
Raspberry pie filling may be substituted for the cherry.
To make the crust: Combine the crumbs and margarine; and press onto the bottom of a 9 inch springform pan.
Bake at 350 degrees F for 10 min.
To make the filling: Combine cream cheese and sugar, mixing at med speed with an electric mixer until blended.
Add eggs one at a time mixing well after each addition.
Blend in the chocolate and the extract, and pour over crust.
Bake at 350 degrees F for 45 min.
Loosen the cake from the rim of pan; cool before removing.
Chill.
Top the cake with the pie filling and the whipped topping just before serving.

Made two meat loafs last week and it turned out great. gave some of my friends some and they like the spicy taste it had. this is one that I will make more often.


A truly amazing combination of flavors. The dressing is divine, the warm and tart goat cheese combined with the sweetness of apple ring is truly out of this world.
