Apple Cinnamon Cake

Ingredients

3 large eggs
1 1/2 cups sugar
1 cup vegetable oil
2 cups flour, all-purpose
1 tablespoon cinnamon ground
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
6 medium apples Newtown Pippin
1/2 cup almonds coarsely chopped
1 x whipped cream sweetened, or vanilla ice cream

Directions

Peel apples, core and cut into eights.

1. Combine eggs, sugar and oil; mix well.

2. Combine flour, cinnamon, baking soda and salt; add to egg 3. Stir in apples and nuts.

4. Spread in greased 8-inch square pan. Bake at 325 F. 75 to 80 minutes or until wooden pick inserted near the center comes out clean.

5. Serve warm with whipped cream or vanilla ice cream.

Dan's Homemade Sloppy Joe's

This was realy good. A big hit and easy too. I did cheat and use 1/2cup of salsa instead of peppers because I didn't want to go to the store. I added garlic, paprika and cumin. Turned out great
